    • Ph.D. in relevant biological field (Molecular/Cell Biology, Genetics) or at least Master's degree with 3-5 years hands on mammalian cell culture experience
    • CRISPR experience a plus, but not required
    • Excellent verbal/written communication

    FULL DESCRIPTION: OUR CLIENT IS SEEKING A TECHNICAL SUPPORT SCIENTIST TO JOIN THEIR TEAM IN A NON-LABORATORY ROLE. THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT SCIENTIST IS A POSITION CRITICAL TO SUPPORTING BOTH COMPANY'S SCIENTIFIC AND COMMERCIAL ORGANIZATIONS AND OUR CUSTOMER'S TECHNICAL NEEDS IN THE CONSTANTLY EVOLVING DOMAIN OF CRISPR/GENOME ENGINEERING. THIS ROLE WOULD FOCUS ON EFFECTIVELY MANAGING TECHNICAL SUPPORT DISCUSSIONS BETWEEN THE COMPANY AND THEIR CUSTOMERS AND INVOLVES WORKING CLOSELY WITH OPERATIONS, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT, MARKETING, AND COMMERCIAL TEAMS TO ENSURE EXCELLENT TECHNICAL SUCCESS FOR ALL LEVELS OF CRISPR RESEARCHERS WITH THEIR RANGE OF GENOME ENGINEERING PRODUCTS. IF YOU ARE MOTIVATED BY HELPING OTHERS, KEEN TO HELP SCIENTISTS ON THEIR PATH FROM DISCOVERY TO CLINICAL AND HAVE AN INTEREST IN CONTRIBUTING TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF LIFE SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGIES IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT, THEN THIS IS THE POSITION FOR YOU!

    The selected candidate will further possess:

    • Strong technical knowledge around experimental design, execution, analysis, and troubleshooting portions of CRISPR workflows and basic molecular biology techniques.
    • Ability to quickly learn and synthesize scientific concepts
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written), problem-solving, collaborative and networking skills – both towards other scientists/customers and internal research, support, and sales teams
    • Keen to help scientists with different backgrounds and expertise levels to successfully perform genome engineering experiments
    • This is a great opportunity if you are looking to transition out of the lab to be closer to customers while remaining technical and up to date with cutting-edge science.

    The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

    • Own the technical and scientific success of our customer experience with the company's CRISPR genome engineering products.
    • Provide excellent scientific and customer support throughout the entire CRISPR experimental outline: experimental design, troubleshooting, and analysis.
    • Provide timely support to CRISPR researchers through email and phone calls.
    • Assist with custom RNA order intake, feasibility assessment, and provide relevant technical updates to customers and or the sales team.
    • Assist with generating and maintaining online external customer support content and resources.
    • Maintain an excellent working knowledge of relevant CRISPR/Genome Engineering publications; keep up to date on the latest reports and research trends from the literature; attend relevant conferences.
