    Immediate REMOTE opening for a Laboratory Sales Representative, Tri StateTerritory with a biopharmaceutical company who possesses:

    • Bachelor's degree in biology, Life Sciences or Chemistry required
    • 3+ years of sales experience
    • Theoretical knowledge of cell culturing and HPLC

    FULL DESCRIPTION : The selected candidate will maintain and manage specific outside territory by meeting and exceeding sales goals. Manage customer accounts to ensure 'premiere' service and technical support to customers with on-site consultative visits on a regular and ongoing basis.

    The selected candidate will be responsible for:

    • Conduct on-site customer visits to provide sales information: cell culture, sample preparation (chromatography) and related products
    • Ensure that assigned territory meets sales goals
    • Develop relationships with new and existing customers
    • Sell products in various market segments via direct sales and through distributors
    • Actively sell: Local vendor shows, and company sponsored trade shows
    • Identify and follow-up with potential new sales leads through social media, the company CRM, customer referrals and email campaigns
    • Develop sales strategies for assigned territory including business plans and market analysis
    • Have a positive attitude, be a team player, and strive to learn and contribute to company culture
    • Manage and maintain information in company CRM
    • Perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and/or management
    • Limited overnight travel (except sales meetings /attend national conferences)

    The selected candidate will also possess:

    • Self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are critical
    • Knowledge of the account base in the geography preferred
    • Laboratory hands-on experience preferred
    • Basic Knowledge of Cell Culture and/or High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography
    • Requires analytical thinking and presenting ideas
    • Experience in Microsoft office and a CRM program
    • Skilled in the art of negotiation
    • Bachelor's degree in biology, Life Sciences or Chemistry required

    Salary Range: $100k-$120k/yr
