    We're looking for a Solar Energy Consultant join our team, focusing on projects in the South Bay Area. 

    JOB SUMMARY

    This role involves lead development and full sales-cycle. You will travel to client sites to meet with potential Simply Solar clients and present proposals for solar systems. You will create those proposals using our online tools and proprietary software. You will close deals and develop ongoing relationships with clients throughout the production process. 

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Full lead development and sales-cycle  

    • Utilize online tools and proprietary software to analyze and design solar systems for homeowners  

    • Create and present proposals for customers  

    • Close contracts in home utilizing paperless contract systems  

    • Track all customers and sales cycle in Salesforce 

    • Attend local events networking groups to help generate leads and sales

      

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Outstanding lead generation and follow-up skills  

    • 2+ years of sales experience with a successful record preferred

    • High proficiency with computer and online tools (Microsoft Office and Google Apps a plus)  

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required  

    • College degree preferred but not required  

    • Estimating experience preferred but not required

    • CRM experience preferred with experience tracking and analyzing sales process

    • Integrity, honesty, and ability to speak with all varieties of customers  

    • Flexible hours, including weekend and evening hours  

    • Valid CA driver’s license and clean driving record  

    • Ability to pass pre-employment background check
