Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Printer Technician for Tecnau and Hunkeler printers to join our team at our facility located in Fort Worth, TX. As a Printer Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, repair, rebuild, remanufacturing of Tecnau and Hunkeler printing equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background and a passion for troubleshooting and problem-solving. Some travel required.
Responsibilities
- Install, de-install, configure, and maintain various types of printers and printing equipment
- Perform repairs on printers, including cleaning, replacing parts, and troubleshooting issues
- Diagnose and resolve printer errors, malfunctions, and connectivity problems
- Respond to service requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgen
- Keep accurate records of printer maintenance, repairs, and inventory
- Stay updated on the latest printer technologies and industry trends
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on printer operation and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus
- Prior experience as a Printer Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of printer hardware, software, and connectivity
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving printer issues
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Flexibility to travel or work occasional evenings or weekends, if required
