Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance specialist will be essential to enhance key processes with the Operations Department and improving customer satisfaction within OneSource Distributors. This position will assist the logistics and operations teams to achieve goals and improve overall quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews, tracks, and recommends improvements in key processes within the Operations Department to include Receiving, Put Away, Picking, Shipping, Commodities, Modiflex, Fleet, and Safety
Assists in establishing, implementing, and tracking goals, objectives, procedures, and systems within the Operations Department
Participates in the development and implementation of short- and long-term plans and initiatives to achieve highest level of safety, quality, and production within the Operations Department
Maintain 5 S initiatives by performing weekly 5 S audits, meeting with Operations supervisions on those inspections and conducting 5 S metric analysis, including continued updating of current work areas
Assist Operations Manager by providing operations data and guidance pertinent for decision making

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of a two-year degree preferred
Previous distribution center experience preferred
Electrical product knowledge is preferred
Demonstrated computer skills
Ability to work with Excel documents
Able to work a varied shift
