The OT Technician is responsible for assisting physical therapists with non-clinical tasks while caring for individuals. OT techs help move patients, keep treatment areas organized and clean, assist patients with light exercises and record progress for therapists. Responsible for all physical therapy equipment, the Occupational Therapy Technician will set up and take down relevant equipment for Occupational Therapist use during treatment sessions. They will also manage inventory and care for and maintain equipment. They must also maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
