** Primary (Essential) Functions:**
Sinclair Risk & Financial Management (SRFM) is looking for dynamic leaders wanting an authentic team experience to support their efforts to expand our ever-growing client base.
Sales position requiring advanced communication skills, a thorough knowledge of insurance products available through the agency. Capable of pursuing and closing sales of new and existing commercial and benefits accounts and retaining an assigned book of business. The primary focus of this position is to sell and renew insurance to companies in the Northeast region.
** Major Responsibilities**
· Achieve objectives established in the annual producer sales plan.
· Learn and utilize Sinclair's proprietary sales process to prospect & onboard new clients.
· Survey prospects to determine needs and review insurance strategy
· Collect detailed risk and underwriting information, including survey data and loss history.
· Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and deliver formal insurance proposals, including coverages, limits, deductibles, and other pertinent information.
· Coordinate with internal support, service, human resource, and risk management teams.
· Conduct client and prospect appointments, communicate proposals and renewals, explain details, and communicate the desire to conduct business.
· Embrace team-orientated sales servicing of clients & delegate accordingly.
· Maintain Pipedrive CRM and attend all sales meetings as required.
· Promote agency and insurance industry in the community.
· Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by agency management.
· Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
** Qualification requirements**
· Current CT Property & Casualty or Life & Health license
· One + years of Property & Casualty insurance commercial industry experience
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
· The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, stairs, etc.
· Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machineries, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
· Occasionally moves office equipment weighing up to 25 pounds for various meetings and event needs.
