Summary/Objective
The Certificate Coordinator creates and issues certificates of insurance for agency clients and other necessary parties using agency management software within timeframe established by Single Source Insurance to accomplish superior customer service.
Essential Functions

· Answers incoming client requests by email and phone
· Interprets policy documents and accurately transfers information to database
· Compares accuracy of policy documents to management system and certificates
· Confidently communicates by telephone to insureds
· Prioritizes requests of insured according to agency guidelines
· Completes deadlines and meets turnover timeline on all requests

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position except to team events or marketing events two to three times per year in the local area.
Required Education and Experience
Graduation from high school or GED
Preferred Education and Experience
Specialized course work in general office practices such as typing, filing, computer applications, some college preferred
Florida license 4-40 Customer Service
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
One year of increasingly responsible related experience, or any equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
Previous experience in an administrative role
