Job Summary:
Our Digital Press Operator works closely with our customer service reps and our art department - providing support with the goal of providing our clients with exactly what they want.
Responsibility Overview:
Produce digital press jobs.
Schedule jobs by due dates indicated or as requested by management.
Call for press maintenance when necessary and notify management.
Operate all digital presses and copiers in accordance with equipment operating procedures.
Perform maintenance per the guidelines on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Communicate with the other employees and/or the customer for a complete understanding of the copy order.
Keep the copier area clean and organized.
Perform troubleshooting with the equipment when necessary.
Order and stock inventory and supplies per the direction of management.
Skills we are looking for:
An understanding of copiers, their functions, and processes.
An aptitude for math and detail.
Able to apply written instructions about machine set-up and maintenance.
Skills desired, but not required:
Assist with job packaging as needed.
Comply with all OSHA safety requirements.
Experience with PrintSmith or PrintersPlan
