    HR Recruiter (Healthcare)

    Job Summary

    Develops and implements recruiting plans, advertising programs and related activities for non-clinical staff. This includes coordinating, facilitating, and participating in staffing and retention programs.

     

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field and five years of recruitment experience in a health care environment. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication competencies are essential. Solid knowledge and experience with Human Resources Information Systems and Human Resources policies, practices, and procedures.

     

    Work Environment:

    Primarily works in an office environment, numerous meetings career fairs, subject to many interruptions, some travel and occasionally works irregular hours.

     

    Essential Functions:

    • Identifies, utilizes, and manages various sourcing vehicles i.e. advertising, career fairs, etc. to attract qualified candidates.
    • Manages current openings in Taleo by entering and updating postings as changes occur.
    • Monitors candidate activity, updates candidate status, and routes qualified applicants to appropriate hiring manager based on the candidate’s experience, background, and interest.
    • Works with hiring managers to update postings as needed, discusses candidates, and assists with interview scheduling.
    • Facilitates and coordinates all aspects of the interviewing, screening, and hiring process for non-clinical candidates.
    • Follows compensation policies in developing and extending salary and job offers.
    • Provides data/information for recruitment and retention status reports.
    • Coordinates, facilitates and participates in special recruitment activities i.e. career fairs, presentations and speaking engagements, hospital sponsored luncheons, dinners for targeted resources and specific programs to attract students in secondary education to the healthcare field.
    • Performs all other duties as requested by HR management.
