Summary Responsible for safely operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, unload, store, and transport materials throughout the warehouse while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.

Load and unload trailers, trucks, and containers.

Transport materials and finished goods to designated warehouse locations.

Put away, replenish, and retrieve inventory from racks and storage areas.

Perform inventory movements and material handling tasks as directed.

Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any mechanical issues.

Follow all warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy when required.

Support shipping, receiving, and production departments as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts is required.

Valid forklift certification preferred.

Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Strong attention to detail and safety practices.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Pay Rate $16.00 per hour

Work Environment Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, moving machinery, and frequent forklift operation.
