Position Summary: The Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Community Center and supervising Program Coordinators to ensure the successful delivery of programs for youth, teens, adults, and seniors. This full-time position works closely with the CSF program team, residents, and community partners to maintain high-quality programming, ensure compliance with organizational and grant requirements, and foster a positive community environment. The Site Coordinator will also assist with fundraising efforts, support grant-writing initiatives, and oversee staff performance and development.
Compensation & Schedule
Full-time position. Hourly wage: $21-$23 per hour. Up to 40 hours per week. Benefits eligible after 60 days.
Work schedule: Monday–Friday, standard hours (flexibility required for evening and weekend programs as needed)
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and support Program Coordinators, providing guidance on program planning, operations, and participant engagement.
- Coordinate and implement the organization’s approved workplan across all programs at the site, ensuring successful delivery of activities and events.
- Submit weekly activity updates, monthly reports, and program evaluations for leadership review.
- Ensure accurate tracking of participation, attendance, and program data for reporting and grant compliance.
- Work with the Property Manager to communicate programs and events through text messaging, automated phone calls, and door-to-door outreach.
- Oversee the organization of parent and resident meetings, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
- Enforce Center rules and maintain a customer service approach with staff, participants, and residents.
- Ensure the Community Center is safe, clean, organized, and well-maintained; request maintenance and janitorial support from the Property Manager as needed.
- Assist with fundraising initiatives and support grant-writing opportunities for programs at the site.
- Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in gerontology, social work, liberal arts, or related field preferred (Associate’s Degree with significant supervisory experience considered).
- Experience: At least three (3) years of experience developing, implementing, or managing recreational, educational, or community programs, including supervisory responsibilities. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- Experience with AmeriCorps service or volunteering with a sorority or fraternity is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Federal, State, and local benefits and resources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience supporting fundraising and grant-writing initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and evaluate staff effectively.
- Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs for diverse age groups.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to recordkeeping, reporting, and compliance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe applications.
- Must be able to pass a background check including FBI fingerprint check.
