Our client is seeking a Site Foreman to lead grading and earthwork crews on heavy civil construction projects in the Toledo area. This role is responsible for running field operations, coordinating equipment and personnel, and ensuring grading and sitework activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans.

Responsibilities

• Run grading and sitework crews performing excavation, earthwork, drainage, and site preparation

• Coordinate operators, laborers, trucking, equipment, and materials to maintain daily production

• Read construction plans, grade stakes, and specifications to ensure work meets required elevations and alignment

• Track daily quantities, crew hours, and production while maintaining accurate jobsite reports

• Communicate with superintendents and project managers to coordinate schedules, resolve field issues, and keep work moving

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in grading, earthwork, or site development construction

• Experience running crews and managing daily jobsite production

• Ability to read civil construction plans, grades, and specifications

• Familiarity with heavy equipment used in sitework including dozers, excavators, loaders, and motor graders

• Strong leadership, communication, and commitment to jobsite safety
