    Job Description

To support this mission, Syngenta's SE Production Operations Team is seeking a Site Operations Specialist Sr in Waterloo, NE.

    The Site Operations Specialist Sr. independently provides a high level of support on routine and advanced site processes, procedures, and policies. This role will be responsible for coordinating and executing administrative tasks, managing the multiplication orders process, serving as the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and employees. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to provide excellent customer service skills.

    Accountabilities:

    • Act as a site resource for project initiatives.
    • Responsible for understanding the day-to-day of the site operations.
    • Coordinate and manage administrative and advanced tasks such as filing, record keeping, and data entry, contract labor reporting, and timecards.
    • Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budget accountability/reporting.
    • Support, execut,e and track settlements, orders, contracts, payments, and purchase orders.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors, customers, vendors, and employees.
    • Provide general administrative support to the site as needed, including on-site meetings and events.
    • Prepare and process various documents such as purchase orders, shipping documents, and invoices.
    • Support change management and delivery of new processes.
    • Plan, support, and coordinate employee/site engagement activities.
    • Inventory management of site essentials (materials, supplies, etc.).
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues that may arise.
    • Maintain compliance with site HSE protocols, Syngenta HSE policies, and employee code of conduct.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 5+ years of experience.
    • Technically proficient in using Microsoft Office.
    • Advanced knowledge of accounts payable software.
    • Understanding of professional etiquette and office protocols.
    • Experience leading projects or small teams.
    • Ability to handle office tasks, such as scheduling, calendar management, and travel arrangements.
