    A nationally recognized commercial general contractor is seeking a Site Safety Leader to support large-scale construction projects throughout the Austin area. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced safety professional who enjoys working closely with field operations, building relationships, and making a meaningful impact on every project.

    What You'll Do

    As the Site Safety Leader, you'll be responsible for helping foster a proactive safety culture across the jobsite while partnering with project teams to ensure every employee and trade partner returns home safely each day.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Lead and support all onsite safety initiatives.

    • Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and identify potential hazards.

    • Partner with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and owners to maintain a safe work environment.

    • Conduct new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training.

    • Assist with incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.

    • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.

    • Help develop project-specific safety plans for high-risk activities.

    • Promote a culture built on accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.

    • Serve as a trusted safety resource for project teams throughout construction.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience with a commercial General Contractor preferred.

    • OSHA 30 Certification required.

    • Experience conducting safety orientations, inspections, and training.

    • Strong understanding of OSHA standards and commercial construction safety practices.

    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

    • Ability to work effectively with field teams, subcontractors, and project leadership.

    • Comfortable working in an active construction environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

    • CHST Certification or ability to obtain within six months

    • OSHA 500 Certification or eligibility to obtain

    • First Aid / CPR / AED Certification

    • Experience with large commercial construction projects
