Job Title: Site Safety Manager (CHST)—Solar Construction

Location: Baltimore, MD (45 minutes East) Pay Rate: $45 - $50 per hour + Overtime (Time and a Half After 40 Hours) Pay Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Hours: 50-60 Hours per Week Start Date: Immediate Duration: 12-month contract with potential for extension

Job Overview:

Alpha & Omega Safety Services is seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager for a construction contractor working on a solar construction project near Baltimore, MD. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, implementing safety programs, and maintaining a safe work environment on-site.

Qualifications: • 3 to 5 years of experience in solar construction safety • Minimum CHST certification (Construction Health and Safety Technician) • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance in construction • Ability to lead safety meetings, conduct site inspections, and enforce safety policies

Benefits & Compensation: • Per Diem: $1,000 per week • Vehicle Allowance: Compensation for using a personal vehicle (must be suitable for rough terrain, such as a truck or SUV) • Contract Duration: 12 months with the potential for extension • Overtime Pay: Time and a half after 40 hours
