    Our client, Alt Construction, is growing again!

    Alt Construction is a growing commercial general contractor based in Boone County, Indiana, specializing in retail, restaurant, flex-space, and light industrial projects throughout Central Indiana. They seek a strong field leader who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and delivers projects the right way.

    Position Summary

    The Site Superintendent is responsible for managing daily job-site operations and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to Alt's quality standards. This role is hands-on and requires leadership, organization, and accountability.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee day-to-day job site operations
    • Manage subcontractors, enforce project schedules, and meet deadlines
    • Maintain jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
    • Read and interpret plans and specifications
    • Coordinate inspections and ensure code compliance
    • Track progress and proactively address issues
    • Maintain jobsite organization and cleanliness
    • Communicate consistently with Project Managers
    • Complete daily reports and documentation

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of commercial construction experience (preferred, not required)
    • Prior superintendent or foreman experience preferred
    • Strong understanding of construction sequencing
    • Ability to manage multiple trades simultaneously
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Indiana
