Site Superintendent - High-End Residential Construction, Miami, FL
Our client builds complex, high-end residential projects in the most affluent neighborhoods of South Florida, typically ranging from $5 million to $30 million and at times beyond. The work is custom single-family construction where craftsmanship, professionalism and discretion are the standard.
The first phase is a new pier at an existing waterfront project together with a full ground-floor fitout. The role then continues into the summer phase on the same project, building new structures, undertaking a fully new seawall and completing ground-floor interior fitouts. The start is expected in early December 2026 or January 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Own daily jobsite operations and keep work organized and coordinated across all trades.
- Act as the primary on-site contact for field teams, subcontractors, inspectors and other project stakeholders.
- Lead field execution across all phases of custom single-family residential construction.
- Hold the schedule, the quality benchmarks and the standard of craftsmanship the work demands.
- Identify risk, anticipate constraints and resolve issues before they slow the job.
- Conduct daily and milestone inspections and hold subcontractors accountable to the finish level.
- Manage logistics - material deliveries, manpower allocation and the sequencing complex builds require.
- Provide clear, timely site updates to project management and leadership.
- Maintain a safe, well-organized site and enforce compliance throughout.
Qualifications
- Deep high-end residential experience as a site superintendent, running the field independently.
- A track record on custom single-family work in the multimillion-dollar range.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the discretion that occupied, high-value neighborhoods require.
- Able to coordinate complex field operations across many trades at once.
- Comfortable carrying a project from one phase into the next over a long build.
- Waterfront or marine exposure is a plus and not a requirement. The pier and the seawall are built by an experienced licensed marine contractor with special inspectors reviewing the work. You manage and oversee that contractor; prior marine experience helps and is not a gate.
Compensation and benefits
- $120,000 to $140,000, depending on experience.
- Ten days of paid vacation per calendar year, available from the first day of work.
- Three paid sick days and two personal days per calendar year, also available from day one.
- Company health insurance, with the premium covered in full by the employer.
- A discretionary year-end bonus, based on individual and company performance.
