Skandinavia Contemporary Interiors is searching for full-time home furnishing sales/interior designers who are outgoing, enthusiastic and have a passion for design and quality - helping our customers create the perfect feel and atmosphere in their homes while maintaining high customer service standards.

Requirements:

Take a consultative selling approach to building customer relationships as you help prospective buyer's select home furnishing pieces that best suit their needs. Meet and exceed your monthly sales goals.

Build your business by prospecting with new and existing customers.

Develop and maintain expert product knowledge on all of our merchandise.

Demonstrate design skills, professional communication, and follow-up skills.

Energy, enthusiasm, and patience backed by an entrepreneurial spirit.

Maintain the appearance of the store at all times.

Attend and participate in weekly store meetings and individual meetings.

Develop expert knowledge of our procedures and computer systems.

Must have excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and as a team.

Collaborate on posts for social media.

Skills/Talents Required: Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Bachelor's degree preferred; HS Diploma required.

Minimum 2 years of proven retail sales/customer service –furniture experience preferred. High-end apparel and luxury retail sales experience considered.

Exceptional sales and customer service skills.

Excellent written and verbal communications.

Bilingual a plus.

Be able to lift 25 pounds.

Ability to work well in a team concept and on your own.

Optimistic, outgoing and an energetic personality.
