    Job Description

    Skechers is a global footwear and apparel brand where you will see your work have an immediate impact from day one. Our Enterprise Application team supports a variety of custom and SaaS based application and is focused on modernizing our tech stack to support Skechers’ growth worldwide. We are implementing a new Digital Asset Management system to streamline the way digital assets are organized, stored, and shared across platforms.

    We are seeking a highly motivated and creative thinker to join the DAM team as a business system analyst. As a business system analyst, you will not only manage the DAM but be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, writing business/technical specifications, implementing effective system solutions, and working with system users. This includes working with stakeholders, writing SOPs and training users. In this role, you’ll be helping redefine the way users access and utilize digital content.

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-

    • Optimize business processes and systems through strategic design, development, and implementation, including detailed technical specifications for software developers.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for system enhancements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical enhancements with business goals.
    • Generate process maps and summaries for documenting procedures, processes, and solutions, and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides.
    • Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration with infrastructure.
    • Act as a liaison between end-users and technical teams to facilitate smooth communication and issue resolution.
    • Data cleansing and perform mass updates.
    • Curate digital assets with a focus on metadata management and taxonomy, while spearheading initiatives to enhance metadata schema for more advanced search and discovery capabilities.
    • Utilize analytics tools to track the performance and usage patterns of digital assets to generate actionable insights to optimize content strategies and improve asset ROI.
    • Develop and implement strategies for the efficient syndication of digital assets across various channels.
    • Collaborate with external partners or vendors to ensure seamless integration of various software applications and systems.
    • Ensure intuitive, user-friendly interfaces aligned with the overall user experience strategy and document interfaces between DAM system and integrated platforms.
    • Enforce best practices for a smooth asset lifecycle and offer effective system utilization training and support to end users and stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement strategies for the full lifecycle management of digital assets, including maintaining governance, archival, and deletion policies.
    • Implement and manage version control mechanisms to track and manage changes over time.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • Project management – Lead or contribute to specific projects related to system enhancements or new implementations, overseeing timelines, resources and deliverables.

    _ JOB REQUIREMENTS-_

    • Experience supporting full agile and waterfall software development lifecycle (including understanding business processes, gathering user requirements, design, testing, deployment and training).
    • Advanced analytical skills.
    • Advance written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders and convey technical information effectively.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent experience or certification is acceptable.
    • Proven experience of 5 + years of work as a business systems analyst, with a preference for digital asset management background or related experience.
    • SQL or Alteryx knowledge, preferrred
    • Advanced experience in Jira, Confluence, Excel, Alteryx and Lucid Charts preferred

    Pay range for this position is $105,000 - $135,000 per year.
