    Job Description

    • Accountable for all inbound and replenishment operations to include:
      • Proper receipt of materials and product into the Skechers facilities.
      • Accurately locating received inventory into its proper place the first time to maintain task protocols, and inventory best practices.
      • Manage staffing to plan and production needs.
      • Inventory movement is executed following defined and maintained best practices.
      • Inventory replenishment is executed to plan, at rate and hours.
      • Department KPIs, to include IB planned volume, accuracy, resource utilization, cycle times, and charges/fines due to controllable processes
      • Department budget planned to actual, direct, and indirect vCPU (virtual centralized processing unit)
    • Manage all aspects of the department financial, operational, people, process, and service -related objectives to drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains to reduce overall cost-to-serve; participates in strategic and business process improvement projects for the distribution network.
    • Analyze, manage, review and dispute violations related to IB processes
    • Cultivate and grow the relationship with HQ Intl Inbound team, transportation companies and vendors
    • Responsible for developing KPIs for Receiving/Replenishment and smart goals to improve efficiency.
    • Work with analytics team to develop and implement standardized department Receiving/Replenishment reporting in support of KPIs, and financial goals
    • Accountable to detect department SOPs and ensure work instructions are complete and useful d in training of employees.
    • Accountable for ensuring teams are trained and properly using tools such as PKMS, Pyramid, Garpac, SketchForce, iWarehouse, and other applications required for Receiving/Replenishment daily actions where applicable.
    • Accountable for maintaining controllable flow to the other departments to include inventory received and put away accurately and timely, product is pulled and transported on time to meet processing hourly plan, inventory movement processes are completed on time.
    • Responsible for continuous improvement of communication between Replenishment and Processing department.
    • Collaborate on development and implementation of a cross training program for staff with the goal of creating a knowledgeable, flexible, and agile operations leadership team
    • Evaluates the effectiveness of and recommends alternatives for work methods, procedures, controls and staffing to achieve accurate and timely movement and processing of product; manage to ensure warehouse layout is optimally aligned for maximum efficiency as seasonality and inventory needs require
    • Works with vendors to ensure proper supplies are available to meet demand.
    • Promotes strong fiscal and ethical standards throughout the department.
    • Coaches, trains, and develops employees informally and through formal training programs, providing both informal (e.g., on-floor coaching) and formal (e.g., written evaluation) job performance-based feedback. Works with Human Resources to implement training resources.
    • Creates a workplace that demonstrates care and concern for all employees.
    • Partners with DC Human Resources to identify and address business/employee relation needs, etc.
    • Ensure a culture of safety throughout the organization by following Skechers safety policies and procedures and the operational metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
    • Accountable for the management of a department or functional group through supervisors/managers and for all personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of teams
    • Ability to react quickly and appropriately to challenges, following up within a timely manner.
    • Will participate in and be responsible for an annual operating plan and budget for their operational area.
    • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
