    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

    • Research new product categories in terms of trends, target prices, competitive brands and key manufacturers
    • Locate key contacts within key manufacturers
    • Maintain spreadsheets and databases to monitor the flow of work and tracking of the business
    • Compile information and data and create presentations to convey key details concisely and accurately
    • Maintain filing system for contracts and other documents and reports.
    • Create a time/action calendar to meet all department/division milestones dates
    • Monitor key dates for retailer meetings held by our Licensees or by the department.
    • Ensure timely submission of business reviews and annual business plans
    • Maintain track of key calendar dates for product development, retail sales meetings, production, ex-factory and delivery
    • Ensure Licensees are kept up to date with all of the most relevant information
    • Provide administrative support as needed (copying, filing, forms etc.)
    • Store Visits – visits to local stores to monitor licensee product presentation and adherence on a regular basis. Check on competitive brand presentations and provide a review

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be MAC, MS office suite as well as CS5 and higher proficient.
    • Email and Internet savvy with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organization skills.
    • Analytical abilities.
    • Ability to adjust to changing business environment.
    • Excellent follow-up, self-starter, problem solver/facilitator, eager to offer ideas/solutions, know when to seek others' input.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum experience:  1-2 years’ experience in apparel or fashion-related position.
