THE JOB:

We are looking for an AFTER EFFECTS ANIMATOR join a team building the next generation of a growing education technology platform. We are looking for an After Effects artist with strong motion graphics and animation skills to help elevate our content. Day-to-day, you will be tasked with bringing illustrations, drawn in Photoshop, to life. You will work alongside editors, and you will consult with our artists to ensure you have the materials needed to achieve the scripted animations. The After Effects Artist will help us templatize some animation work, help train other members of the team in some animation techniques and help build instructional guidelines for other freelance artists. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE: 

• 2+ years experience creating animation and motion graphics in After Effects. 

• Experience with the After Effects Puppet tool. 

• Proficiency with other Adobe softwares such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Character Animator, and Animate, preferred. 

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Patience in training and working with other team members. 

• Able to take direction and work under tight deadlines.

• Clean and organized After Effects files.

• Self-motivated learner with an eye for detail, who also has a creative eye for experimentation.
