Build and test a variety of complex pumps by using engineering drawings and instructions and parts kits. Works on products that contain mechanical, electrical and dual hydraulic systems.
Must be proficient in working from limited information, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts, or plans often requiring interpretation.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical and electrical schematics, and other specifications to determine the repair method on failed components during testing
Posses excellent mechanical reasoning. Hydraulic and/or electrical background required. Measurement conversion and fluids theory knowledge required for test applications. Leakage, flow, friction and pressure knowledge.
-Collect and document testing in Excel. Must be proficient in Excel.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree in electronics technology with 2 or more years experience or 3 or more years of relevant experience with High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience working from limited information, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts, or plans often requiring interpretation
Experience with computer skills such as e-mail, Word, Excel
Experience with laboratory test equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
Experience operating in a laboratory environment preferred
Knowledge of electronic and electrical principles and strong technical capabilities with hands-on approach
Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps
Ability to troubleshoot, repair and construct electrical/electronic systems
