Job Description
- HOURS: STANDARD 8:00 – 5:00 PM
- DURATION: 2-3 MONTHS, CONTRACTOR (WILL NOT CONVERT TO AN FTE; CHANCE FOR SHORT EXTENSION)
We are seeking exceptional customer focused and results driven requirement & design SME/Facilitator, to work with a (Developer) Visualization Analyst to help to create ideas, solicit, prioritize and document use case scenarios for the Advanced Simulation Environment (ASE) project.
The ideal candidate will possess 7+ years of relevant experience in positions showing an increasing responsibility. Additionally, the candidate will have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, a positive attitude and be a team player.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:
- Assists in assessing business stakeholder’s needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities.
- Coordinates planning sessions to document business process, define the problems and helps the business articulate how a successful solution would meet their needs. Documents discussion and agreements.Help to ideation, solicit, prioritize and document use case scenarios for the ASE
- Develops process flows, swim lane diagrams and use-cases to illustrate to-be states to demonstrate to business stakeholders that needs have been fully captured and to provide the required business context at the start of the design phase
- Ability to solve problems creatively
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service focus at all times
- Help to create ideas, solicit, prioritize and document use case scenarios for the Advanced Simulation Environment (ASE) project.
- Help translate requirements into a feasible solution design and development process
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong Energy/Power markets background (at least 7+ yrs experience)
- PhD preferred
- Strong facilitation skills in a workshop setting with strong emphasis on stakeholder interaction
- Proven track record translating requirements into a feasible solution design and development process
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong problem solving & stakeholder interactive analysis.
