Under our construction manager’s direction, you will work alongside a small team of other laborers and tradesmen and apply your knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment to keep the project on track. Responsibilities: • Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment such as jackhammers, survey equipment, and forklifts as required • Follow all directions of the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately • Aid tradesmen, sub-contractors and craft workers such as painters, roofers, plasterers, carpenters, and electricians, as necessary • Carry, load, and unload tools and building materials such as sheetrock, saws, lumber, tile, grout, etc. • Remove debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean to meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements • Be able and willing to perform multiple trades as needed Qualifications: • Strong depth perception, good eye-hand coordination, and mechanical skills are helpful • Possess a valid drivers license • Both physical stamina and physical strength are essential • High school diploma or equivalent is required - Associate’s degree, trade certification, and/or completed apprenticeship program is highly preferred • Experience working on a construction site, understanding of blueprints and construction plans, and knowledge of construction tools, methods, and equipment is required Compensation: $23 - $35 hourly
