Ace Handyman Services Montclair is seeking a high-level skilled handyman who takes pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer service.

This position offers a clear path to grow into a Lead Craftsman / Field Supervisor as our company expands.

What You’ll Do

You will perform a wide range of residential repairs and improvements, including:

Finish carpentry and trim work

Door installation and adjustments

Drywall repairs

Interior painting

Tile repair and installation

Light plumbing repairs

Light electrical work

General home maintenance and repair

You will work directly with homeowners and represent our brand. Professionalism and attention to detail matter.

Qualifications

5+ years of residential repair or carpentry experience

Strong finish carpentry skills

Ability to perform light plumbing and electrical

Strong problem-solving ability

Highly organized and punctual

Self-driven — no babysitting required

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Own professional-grade tools

Must have your own reliable vehicle in clean, presentable condition (you represent our franchise at customer homes)

Ability to pass background check

Communication is critical:

You must be articulate and professional when speaking with customers. You should be able to clearly explain scope of work, pricing, and project details, and document job notes accurately.

Strong communication skills are required for future leadership opportunities.
