PurposeThis is a full time position with a Fast-Growing IT Company in Fed-space looking to bring on-board a dynamic Technical Recruiter who is energetic, flexible, and versatile professional to join their Corporate Team at the headquarters in Washington, DC.
Job Functions and Responsibilities
The successful candidate's core responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Performing full life cycle recruiting of candidates for a variety of Government projects in VA, MD, DC and other locations as we continue to grow and expand.
Supporting Project Managers with recruiting needs and best practices.
Recruit for current and contingent positions (50/50) in a quick turn-around and frequently changing environment.
IT recruiting requirements will also be needed for Federal Government proposals in a fast-paced environment.
Developing recruitment plans and pipelines for difficult to fill positions.
Identifying, pre-screening, evaluating, summarizing, presenting, and recommending candidates for interview/selection. Consulting with hiring managers and assisting with decision making.
Taking a lead role on proposals and projects as assigned by manager - collaborating to identify and draft requirements, organizing and planning, personally recruiting candidates in most cases, assisting other recruiters as needed or requested, and advising/consulting with management on processes, procedures, negotiating strategies, and winning strategies.
Negotiating and coordinating with staffing agencies and/or subcontractors as needed.
Conducting New Hire Orientations for new hires.
Remaining upbeat and generally exhibiting an optimistic and supportive team spirit at all times.
Minimum Job Requirements
Undergraduate degree in psychology or similar field from a reputable college preferred
2+ years of experience as a technical recruiter.
Energetic and motivated professional with a desire to grow with the company
Follow-up skills, dependable, organized, and committed.
Listening, understanding and communication skills.
Experience using recruiting tools like Monster, JobVite, DICE and LinkedIn.
Aptitude to learn and comprehend technical requirements.
3 weeks’ PTO (Increases to 5 weeks with length of the stay).
10 Federal holidays.
