PurposeA fast Growing IT Company in the federal-space looking to expand team at USCIS, Washington DC office. Seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to serve as a leading member of DevSecOps team. The ideal candidate is a full-stack Java and open source developer who is passionate about developing and delivering innovative, zero-defect software solutions leveraging state-of-the-art Java, open source, and cloud technologies.
Duties
7-10 years of experience applying modern software engineering practices including TDD, pair programming, refactoring, BDD, design patterns, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
7 years of utilizing a wide variety of open source Java technologies and tools including Java/JEE, Spring, Spring Security, microservices architectures, Node.js, Hibernate/JPA, database system (SQL and NoSQL), Git, build automation, test automation, infrastructure as code, containerization, high-availability technologies, and cloud (AWS) services.
4 years of software development and delivery experience in an agile/DevOps, cloud (AWS) environment.
5 years of progressive experience analyzing, designing, and implementing complex business solutions with increasing responsibilities
In-depth understanding and experience with test automation tools and techniques, including functional testing, security, integration testing, system acceptance testing, and user acceptance testing phases.
3 years of experience building/leading teams and mentoring junior developers.
3 years of experience working with product owners, business analysts, and project managers.
Results-focused and self-starter with strong innovative and analytical skills.
Experience in implementing best practices implementation experience.
Must have good oral, technical communication, and presentation skills.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related field.
Seven (7) years of demonstrated experience.
