TitleAWS Cloud Engineer/DevOps EngineerLocation(s): Denver, CO (80% remote)

Purpose:Position with a Fast-Growing IT Consulting Company focused on providing cyber security services to Federal, State and Local Governments. Looking to expand team to support a Large Government project. An ideal candidate will conduct technical cloud implementation activities combined with strong knowledge & hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), code-drive deployment, and AWS CloudFormation management.

Required Qualifications:

4 years of experience in Cloud/AWS Engineering with 7+ years in overall technical engineering.

AWS CloudFormation in-depth knowledge

Containerization – Docker Swarm or Kubernetes (EKS)

Serverless architecture in AWS (Lambda)

Experience with AWS Organizations and Resource Access Management (RAM)

Extensive experience with git version control, git branching, and CI/CD practices

Proficiency in one scripting language (BASH, Python, PowerShell or other language)

Experience with Lambda infrastructure automation through CloudFormation deployment

Assist the Lead Cloud Architect with providing technical direction and guidance to the team(s) of Cloud Engineer, Developer and Administrator resources per requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

GitLab, GitLab CI, and configuration of GitLab Runner.

Configuration management solutions (e.g. Ansible, PowerShell DSC, Chef, Puppet).

Containerization – Docker Swarm or Kubernetes.

Experience with AWS security tools and applications (e.g. Inspector, Config).
