Required Qualifications:
8 years of demonstrated work experience in the field.
Candidate will be expected to acquire a deep technical understanding of the product, execute a solution development roadmap, and provide mentorship. In the initial stages of the solution, the candidate maybe required to develop the solutions that may include coding.
Hands-on programming and architecture capabilities in Python, Java, or SCALA.
Experience in Machine Learning Libraries and Notebooks: Spark ML/MLib, TensorFlow, R Server, Zeppelin, Jupyter, etc.
Experience in big data stores (in order of importance): Elastic, Cassandra, Hbase, Hive, HDFS, etc.
Hands-on Solution Architect/Software Architect/Technical Lead role.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in product engineering using big data processing and streaming platforms Apache Spark and Apache Kafka or Apache Flink. Other platforms will be helpful.
Working Knowledge or experience using modeling tools like Knime, Rapidminer, H2O, or SAS is preferred.
Experience with open-source software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to break down complexity.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
