    Purpose:

    Full time position with an Award winning Technology Solutions Provider in Government space, looking to expand team for a Large Government project in Rockville, MD. Offering Great pay with benefits that are second to none.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    Supports the financial planning and analysis activities of the leading Federal shared services provider in the government serving over 10 cabinet level and independent agencies.

    Drives the day-day accounting and bookkeeping activities of the shared services organization including monthly billings to other Federal agencies as well as tracking Interagency Agreements revenue accounts receivable, expense/payments, cash flow, obligations and all contract financial related activities.

    Proactively identifies and advises the government on financial problems and risks and drives to get the necessary decisions/actions taken to resolve those problems and risks.

    Interact with Senior Federal leadership.

    Supports the financial analysis activities in the preparation of internal accounting and financial reporting.

    Provides for financial planning and budget preparation for large scale operations.

    Conducts regular briefings to the Federal team regarding the financial health and any financial or business-related concerns.

    Ensures the timely response to financial data calls, including designing the process to gather necessary information and delegating tasks when required.

    Required Qualifications:

    10 years of accounting and finance experience.

    3+ years of experience in a management or lead capacity.

    Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance best practices.

    CPA Certification is desired.

    Experience and understanding of Federal Government systems, processes, and tools as well as Federal Cost Accounting principles.

    Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to recognize, prioritize, track, and resolve multiple ongoing issues.

    Ability to work well with senior executives as well as mentor/lead other team members.

    Other Information:

    Temporarily, due to COVID this is a 100% remote position — After the ongoing situation subsides, this will be a 2-3 Days a week on site position in Rockville office. The resource is permitted to work remotely rest of the days.

    Once normal operations resume — trips to Washington DC are expected for meetings.
