Residential & Commercial Construction Touchstone Group Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable Multi-Trade Laborer / Construction Technician to support residential and commercial construction and remodeling projects throughout the Atlanta area. This position is ideal for a well-rounded construction professional with experience across multiple trades, including carpentry, tile installation, light plumbing, light electrical, drywall repair, painting, demolition, punch work, and general construction support. Responsibilities: As a Skilled Laborer / Multi-Trade Technician, you will assist with a variety of residential and commercial construction tasks across multiple phases of construction and remodeling projects. General Construction Duties • Perform demolition and site preparation work safely and efficiently • Assist with framing, carpentry, drywall installation, and finish work • Complete punch-list and project closeout tasks • Load, unload, and organize materials and tools on job sites • Maintain clean and organized work areas Carpentry & Finish Work • Install trim, baseboards, doors, hardware, cabinetry, and blocking • Perform light framing and general carpentry repairs • Assist with flooring and finish installations • Execute detailed finish work with attention to craftsmanship and precision Tile Installation • Assist with tile layout, installation, grout work, and repairs • Prepare surfaces and substrates for tile installation • Ensure clean lines, proper spacing, and professional finish quality Light Plumbing & Electrical • Perform basic plumbing tasks such as fixture replacement, trim-outs, shutoffs, faucet installations, and minor repairs • Perform light electrical work, including fixture replacements, outlet/switch replacements, ceiling fan installations, and troubleshooting • Coordinate with licensed trade professionals when required Painting & Drywall • Patch drywall and repair minor surface imperfections • Sand, prep, caulk, and paint interior and exterior surfaces • Protect surrounding finishes and completed work during construction Jobsite & Professional Responsibilities • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite at all times • Follow company safety policies and OSHA guidelines • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members • Identify issues proactively and help resolve field conditions efficiently • Represent Touchstone Group Construction professionally with clients, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors Qualifications: Required Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of residential or commercial construction experience • Experience across multiple trades including carpentry, tile, painting, demolition, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical • Ability to read tape measures and follow scopes of work • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and jobsite coordination • Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Atlanta area • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications • Experience in residential remodeling and commercial tenant improvements • Experience on occupied or client-facing job sites • Familiarity with punch work and final completion phases • OSHA certification preferred • Ability to troubleshoot field issues and adapt quickly Professional Expectations • Dependable, punctual, and accountable • Strong communicator with a professional attitude • Team-oriented and respectful of jobsite protocols • Takes pride in craftsmanship, cleanliness, and organization • Motivated, efficient, and solutions-oriented Compensation: $30 - $38 hourly
