Technical Recruiter
Job Description
Every company relies on its people for success. Recruiters find those people. They play an integral role in an organization’s growth by understanding the needs of hiring managers and sourcing the best talent to fill open positions. Whether they work directly with the company hiring manager or an internal AM, recruiters spend much of their time finding and attracting qualified candidates, coordinating the interview process, and following up with candidates.
This position is a Base Salary plus Commission.
Core Functions of a recruiter:
· Conducting intake meetings with clients to agree on qualification criteria for candidates
· Publishing job ads on careers pages, job boards and social media
· Sourcing active and contacting passive candidates online (e.g. via LinkedIn)
· Match candidate skills to the Job requirements.
· Match the job specifics to candidate requirements.
· Consult with both the candidate and Customer to make sure we hear them and understand what they are expecting
· Follow Up with both the customer and candidate at all stages of the process
What you will be doing:
Managing full cycle recruitment process
Develop recruiting strategies to attract highly qualified candidates through passive sourcing (Zip Recruiter, indeed, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, etc.)
Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through active sourcing
Seek creative solutions for recruiting candidates with difficult or popular skillsets
Identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools
Enter candidates into applicant tracking system
Track candidates through the recruiting process including onboarding, I9 and screenings
Create compelling write-ups/ Bio’s for qualified candidates to go beyond what is on the resume
Present qualified candidates to hiring managers
Follow up with managers for feedback
Coordinate interviews between candidates and customers
Perform all follow up to gain feedback and next steps
Be an advocate for both hiring managers and candidates
Coordinate placement of candidates at customer site
Follow up with Customer and Candidate continually during assignment

Network with candidates offline during job fairs
Screen resumes and job applications
Interview candidates and provide shortlists of qualified potential hires
Update clients on hiring status (e.g. number of screened candidates)
Prepare candidates before interviews with clients
Create talent pipelines with high-potential candidates for future job opportunities
Keep detailed records of past applicants’ information, including resumes, assignments and interview evaluations
Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain good relationships with them
