WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FULL-TIME GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN TO JOIN US FOR SUMMER 2021 AT OUR OFFICE IN CHARLOTTE, NC. THIS IS A PAID POSITION.

Skiptown is on a mission to make the lives of pets and their people easier, and even more fun, through a fully integrated pet services platform. A dog social club, Skiptown is the first tech-enabled, premium pet services ecosystem offering first class fun for pups and people. Our 24,000 sq ft flagship location in South End offers dog daycare, boarding and a social bar - and will soon expand to include retail, veterinary, grooming, training and transportation service.
WHO YOU ARE:
You are someone who is passionate about gaining real-world experience working on a marketing team with an upscale and fun brand at the forefront of the pet care and pet play space. You've designed digitally before and are looking to apply that knowledge on a team, while continuing to learn from a top Charlotte company.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Create web designs, logos, icons, online ad images, infographics, press inserts and other graphics according to best practices for a range of different clients
- Create banner ads in native advertising software platforms
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously to deliver graphics on time and to the highest standards
- Work with team members to ensure final products fit cohesively with the overall project
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- At least one year of graphic design experience, either through education, internships, or working at a company
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Illustration skills
- An exceptional eye for design, styles, trends and innovation
- Familiarity with designing for social media
- Familiarity with email marketing and design
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Have photography or videography experience
