Seasonal Server Starting April

JOB SUMMARY: Servers are responsible for taking care of the members and guests of Skokie Country Club whenever they are on the property. They represent the club every time they step on property and should act with a sense of responsibility to make sure that member’s expectations are being exceeded.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Demonstrate genuine hospitality while greeting and establishing positive relationships with members and guests throughout the club

-Constantly delivering exceptional dining experiences

-Keep the dining rooms, bars, and terraces clean, safe, and presentable at all times while always providing friendly and attentive service

-Excel in the delivery of food and beverages to members and guests

-Must have upbeat, outgoing positive attitude

-Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to work affectively with a team

-Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time

-Willingness to learn

-Must be available to work nights, weekends, Club events, and most Holidays

-Must possess a true desire to satisfy the needs of members and guests in a fast paced environment

-Set, maintain, and clear all tables in the restaurants, bars, and terraces

-Own every member request

-Any other duties assigned by the Food and Beverage managers or Clubhouse manager

-Experience in private clubs is a plus

Qualifications:

-Must be 18 years of age or older

-Must have upbeat, outgoing positive attitude

-Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to work affectively with a team

-Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time

-Experience in private clubs is a plus

-Must be available to work nights, weekends, Club events, and most Holidays

-Must be Food Handler Certified

-Must possess a true desire to satisfy the needs of members and guests in a fast paced environment

-Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight up to 35lbs.

-Advanced wine and spirits knowledge a plus
