Express Employment Eastern Jackson County is currently seeking to fill a Dock Lead position in Independence, MO. We are seeking a team-oriented person with the ability to work in a very fast-paced office.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dock Lead to join our team. As a Dock Lead, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse and distribution center.

This position entails working in food packaging within the freezers. The temperature is set at -10 degrees Fahrenheit, and candidates must be prepared to work in such conditions.

Essential Job Duties:

Lead and coordinate the activities of dock workers to ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Maintains workflow records and documents as necessary.

Oversee inventory control procedures.

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Train and mentor dock workers on proper materials handling techniques.

Communicates with Supervisors, and other Lead personnel any problems or concerns.

Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

2 years previous experience in receiving/inbound.

Previous warehouse lead experience required.

Bilingual - English & Spanish preferred.

Forklift experience required.
