Basic Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist in HR operational aspects including benefits, onboarding, staffing, payroll, tracking metrics and maintaining personnel records

Recruits, interviews and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for opening

Facilitate smooth new hire onboarding process to deliver exceptional first day experience

Provide employees with interpretation of personnel policies and procedures to ensure proper compliance to rules, regulations and laws. Appropriately responds to questions and concerns regarding the same.

Manage employee engagement, initiatives, such as: Company picnics, Holiday celebrations, Lunch and learns, safety, employment anniversaries, etc.; Work with various departments to track and maintain certifications/licenses

Provides guidance and input on workforce planning and succession planning

Responsible for job analysis and the development of accurate job descriptions for all staff

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in Human Resources and employment law

Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

3 – years prior experience supporting multiple areas of HR

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Personnel Management, or equivalent experience in related field

Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR/Payroll platforms
