    POSITION PROFILE

    In order to meet the needs of our rapid international growth, Sky Zone is looking for a dynamic individual for the Regional Business Advisor position, This role supports the region and network through the embodiment of Sky Zone's Core Values, promoting Awesome, Healthy, Fun through WoW experiences.

    The Regional Business Advisor (RBA) serves as the primary link between the Sky Zone Franchise Group and the franchise community. To impact and improve sales, profits and the operating standards of the business, the RBA must apply leadership, influence and functional expertise to create meaningful, productive relationships with each assigned franchise point of contact. The RBA will carefully build strong, two-way relationships with the Franchise Partners and bring the best interest of the Sky Zone brand and partners to every discussion. Polished listening and advising skills will allow the Franchise Partner Network to view the RBA as a credible, reliable, and accountable business partner. The RBA must develop and maintain a strong sense of ownership of the assigned territory, providing leadership and partnership in support of the Sky Zone Brand.

    This individual's performance and goals will be measured against agreed upon quantitative and qualitative benchmarks for Franchise Partner performance including franchise revenues, profitability, and Franchise Partner satisfaction and loyalty.

     

    SALES PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create and execute strategies with Franchise Partner (FP) to achieve targeted sales growth within assigned region through Business Reviews.
    • Partner with the Franchise Partner to diagnose barriers that affect performance and assist with developing business plans to maximize improvement (operations, marketing, training, human resources, etc.)
    • Maintain a working portfolio of Flash Reports and Benchmarking data for each Franchise Partner to analyze successes and areas of opportunity to assist with business coaching and strategy for each park location.
    • Facilitate new park opening discussion and advise on procedures.
    • Report competitive activities and trends to Franchise Partners
    • Recognize and promote park and Franchise Partner achievements and successes, work to understand reason for success and how it can be replicated across the network.
    • Educate and coach Franchise Partners on the Sky Zone philosophy and promote team to drive sales growth
    • Provide additional support and guidance to any park that is not delivering a WoW Guest experience through action plans, weekly follow-ups and workshops.
    • Provide ongoing learning opportunities, coaching & feedback to enhance FP & team performance
    • Set expectations about the Franchise Partner and Regional Business Advisor relationship (communication style and cadence, responsibilities, role in the park and during park openings, etc) and calibrate quarterly.
    • Serve as advocate for changes in systems or process on behalf of the Franchise Partners and Home Zone
    • Provide constructive feedback to the Home Zone when programs or communication are inadequate.
    • Arrange and lead annual regional-based meeting working with the Training and Marketing teams
    • Serve as the conduit between the Franchise Partner and Sky Zone Home Zone, ensuring the Franchise Partner has access to all necessary resources, is able to get the needed information from the correct Home Zone resource in a timely fashion, and is up-to-date on all communication from the Home Zone to the network.
    • Ensure Franchise Partner compliance with the Sky Zone Operations Manual and, when needed, use influencing skills and action plans in a SMART format to course correct.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Five years' experience in a General Manager role in a hospitality / family entertainment center environment.  Previous experience supporting multiple retail locations and working with a franchise system preferred.
    • Four year degree is preferred but not required if candidate has commensurate work experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
    • Experience with business analytics and proven ability to drive business results
    • Proven ability to develop strong relationships and manage through influence
    • Basic skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook are required
    • Must be a self-disciplined, proactive, multi-tasker
    • Must have a passion for Awesome, Healthy, Fun and Delivering WoW experiences
    • Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% which may include evenings, weekends, and overnight hotel stays
