THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Customer Care Representative supporting our HEALTHCARE PROVIDER CLIENT, you will be responsible for promoting the benefits and scheduling of health risk assessments with members of health insurance plans. These assessments are designed to educate, inform and encourage patients and family members to participate in this program to improve their overall health and quality of life. Here's what we are looking for you to do:

• Make warm outbound calls to encourage health plan members to schedule healthcare-related in-home and virtual assessment
• Provide education on the benefits of health risk assessments and overcome objections
• Accurately and concisely document customer feedback and special needs in a computer-based system
• Identify and address member issues by providing additional information as needed
• Provide a second-to-none customer experience with enthusiasm and professionalism

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Naturally persistent and persuasive.
• Ability to manage resistance
• Excellent data entry skills and the ability to navigate multiple computer screens while on the phone
• Experience in a metrics-driven, performance environment preferred
• Outbound call center experience preferred
• 6 to 12 months sales or soft sales experience preferred
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• A home space free of background noise and interruptions

BASIC TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable internet speed and broadband connection (20 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload)
• Windows 8.1 or newer Windows Desktop Operating System only (Windows 10 preferred)
• Must either have:
  • A Windows operated laptop plus 2 extra computer monitors or...
  • A Windows operated desktop plus 1 extra monitor
• A good quality USB headset with a mute button is required for online training and handling live customer calls.
