Job Description
Skycubed is San Diego-based small business specializing in delivering cyber capabilities at scale. We specialize in architecting, developing, and maintaining data analytics systems within the cyber domain. Skycubed has helped clients tackle some of the most challenging technical problems and is currently seeking motivated individuals with the following experience:
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, familiarity with agile software development tools
- Refine and prioritize requirements into stories to be consumed by the development team through Agile practices
- Lead daily scrums, sprint reviews, sprint demos, retrospective and planning meetings to ensure full team engagement. Manage interdependencies between agile teams.
- Possess excellent communication skills (oral and written); ability to lead high level meetings and customer engagements
- Experience using Atlassian toolset(JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience with Navy/DoD processes and systems
- Help the team members clarify goals and correctly applying the scrum process, coaching team members
- Leverage technical knowledge to produce high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria
- Ensure milestones are reached and deadlines are met through product lifecycle
- Prioritize and manage the team backlog based on short and long-term release planning, and to keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution.
- Communicate and manage expectations on product progress to all stakeholders
- Shield the teams from external interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity.
- Anticipate and address potential impediments to team delivery (cultural barriers, logistic challenges).
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred)
- 4-6 years experience in information technology (IT) project management required
- Minimum of two (2) years' Scrum Master experience
- Scrum Master certification required(CSM, PSM, or SSM).Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices.
- Experience with Navy/DoD processes and systems
- US citizen and possess a DoD Secret level security clearance
