We’re looking for great teachers!

STEM education (science, technology, engineering and math) has been identified as one of the most important needs in education. Our camps and classes are high interest/high engagement activities that get kids excited about learning and are fun to teach!

We are looking for great, high-energy teachers and assistants who would like a part-time, temporary, after school position or summer camp position to earn supplemental income.

Responsibilities

As a STEAM teacher, you will:

Be a great communicator and work closely with your Program Director.

Assist with program planning and implementation

Help set up camps.

Lead instruction with a group of participants throughout the entirety of the program

Commit to the full duration of your assignments:

Summer Camp Season - You are assigned to one or more camp formats per week that typically take place Monday through Friday 9 am-12 pm, 1-4 pm, or 9 am-3 pm

Winter/Spring/Fall Seasons - You will be assigned to multiple classes that take place during afternoons, evenings and weekends typically once per week over four to eight weeks

Qualifications

A high-energy, enthusiastic demeanor

Active Teachers preferred

Flexible and adaptable

Responsible and committed to following through on assignments

Some experience working with kids (not required)

Some experience in teaching (not required)

Desire to build experience developing youth and/or teaching STEAM.
