DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities of the Intelligence Specialist I include:
- Act as the conduit between the Fleet and Marine Corps Systems Command customers to develop and field new and existing capabilities.
- Assist in the logical and systematic analysis of operational requirements and the conversion of requirements into hardware and software systems requirements / specifications.
- Provide non-materiel capability support recommendations to USMC training and doctrine MOS development.
- Analyze and recommend changes to joint capabilities documents in support of service information related requirements.
- Provide critical threshold and objective statements for Joint level capability requirements development documents.
- Support testing and systems assessments as required.
- Identify capability gaps and potential materiel and non-material solutions to ensure customers needs are met.
- Document Marine Corps materiel and non-material requirements.
- Consistently collaborate with inter-agencies and other organizations to support the client’s mission.
- Work in technical working groups with service echelon subject matter experts focused on developing deception capabilities for the joint and USMC service levels.
- Draft all appropriate documentation for Government review and approval.
