Job Title: Proposal Writer - RFP Specialist
Location: Stevens Point, WI - Corporate Office

Starting Salary: $45,972.49 - $50,569.74 (Salary commensurate with experience)

Position Description:
Skyward is looking for a Proposal Writer - RFP Specialist to work in a team-orientated sales and marketing environment. The RFP Specialist will work closely with the Proposal Team Manager, Skyward leadership, and many internal stakeholders to write a winning proposal in response to RFP's in the K-12 marketing place. The RFP Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting customer requirements and working with multiple department stakeholders to write clear, concise, and compliant responses to RFP requirements. The RFP Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining standard documentation and content for proposals while aligning with companywide messaging. This position is full-time and based in Stevens Point WI.
Responsibilities:
Ensure Proposals response detail is completed, assembled, and submitted on time.
Ensure timely delivery of assigned content and other materials required for the proposal.
Provide specialized response content based on the detailed requirements of the RFP.
Assist with managing proposal documents, data, information, and other elements.
Follow proposal writing standards, including consistency, tone and readability.
Edit proposal and documents for completeness, compliance, and RFP requirements.
Maintain consistent product messaging and update language and data to remain aligned with overall company messaging.
Develop a deep understanding of the Skyward services and what sets us apart from the competition.
Requirements:
Bachelor or Associate degree
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong Organization skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Office 365 are preferred
Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work both in a team and solo environment
