Our established and reputable CPA firm located in the breathtakingly beautiful pine-covered mountains of Prescott, Arizona is currently seeking an experienced accounting/tax professional to join our team. We are looking for someone who can partner with our for-profit and non-profit business clients as well as individual clients to provide them with top-notch accounting, tax, and advisory services. Tax and Accounting Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare business, and individual tax returns
• Ability to prepare exempt organization and trust tax returns a plus
• Research complex tax issues
• Perform tax planning for clients and answer tax questions
• Provide clients with value-added services to increase efficiency and save taxes
• Prepare and analyze client financial statements after updating monthly bookkeeping, which may include running payroll, preparing sales tax returns and performing reconciliations.
• Act as a mentor to less experienced staff; review their work and provide guidance

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or above required (in Accounting/Tax or Finance a plus)
• 3-5 years relevant accounting/tax experience (able to review staff work)
• Knowledge and use of Lacerte strongly desired
• Impeccable math and accounting skills
• CPA or EA a plus
• Proficient QuickBooks user (and ability to train others)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and efficient computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time or Temporary

Salary: From $65,000.00 per year based on experience
