As a Sleep Technician, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating various sleep disorders of our valued patients. You will work closely with our team of sleep specialists, utilizing advanced technology and state-of-the-art equipment to monitor and analyze sleep patterns and provide accurate reports. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort
Conduct sleep studies, including electrode application, monitoring, and data collection
Monitor patients throughout the sleep study to ensure data accuracy and patient safety
Analyze sleep study data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive reports for sleep specialists
Collaborate with sleep specialists to develop effective treatment plans for patients
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Calibrate and maintain sleep study equipment, ensuring proper functionality
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred)
Previous experience as a Sleep Technician strongly preferred
Proficiency in using sleep study equipment and software
Knowledge of sleep disorders and treatment options
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Flexibility to work evening and overnight shifts (8:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
