Slide Attendant - License to Chill Snow Island (Part Time)
SUMMARY: Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the winter attractions that include but not limited to; Assisting guest on and off tubes, sending guest down the slide, managing the line, operating the magic carpet, checking wristbands, and communicating with the guest while informing them about the park rules and safety measures. This position requires consistent moving and standing in various weather conditions. Must be friendly, interactive, and mindful of safety with the guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcoming guest
Must be at least 16 years of age
Be able to lift 50 pounds or more
Communicate in a friendly manner even when under pressure(s)
Able to stand for long periods of time
Operating the snow slides
Performing customer service
Maintain a clean workspace
Operate a radio
Assist one or multiple guests at a time with any questions
Maintain trash
Effective communication with coworkers and supervisors
Enforce and knowing all policies
Other duties assigned

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must be able to count to three. Example: “one, two, three!”.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 16 years of age
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence and complete reports detailing customer interactions. Ability to effectively present information and give directions with customers and employees.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in both written and verbal form. Ability to deal with problems involving many variables.

Associates are frequently required to stand, walk, run, climb, balance, sit, talk, hear, and reach, handle, or feel. The associate is occasionally required to lift and or move 50 pounds or more. The associate is directly responsible for assisting guests up to their tube on the slide and then pushing those guests down the slide. The associate will be standing for long periods of time assisting guests on and off of the magic carpet walkways. The associate will be moving crash bags around the bottom of the snow hill.

While performing the duties of this job, associates are exposed to outside weather conditions including sun, rain, water, high humidity, and excessive heat/cold. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Nights Weekends and Holidays are required
