We're looking to hire a Certified Medical Assistant at our exclusive new medical office in Beavercreek, OH. Must have a positive attitude, shows compassion, outgoing personality, and a passion to serve patients. Will be responsible for taking basic vitals and working side-by-side with our medical doctors to deliver compassionate care. This position is responsible for answering patient questions, filing paperwork, and general clerical work. It is important that the Certified Medical Assistant has exceptional communication and customer service skills in order to provide the best service possible. Must be available immediately. Responsibilities: Discuss patient information, medical history, and the reason for their visit to share with the healthcare staff Take the patient’s vital signs including their pulse, body temperature, respiration rate, and blood pressure and record it in their chart Welcome patients to the office, take telephone calls, schedule appointments, and answer questions about treatment or prescription refills to ensure an excellent patient experience Get examination rooms ready for patients by ensuring the rooms are well-stocked and at a comfortable temperature and all equipment is sterilized Qualifications: Possesses basic computer skills to complete administrative tasks Candidates must have successfully completed an accredited medical assisting program a supervised externship in a healthcare setting Should have a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or other certifying agency Graduated from high school or received GED Solid communication and customer service skills Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
