Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions

· Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases

· Prepares invoices, checks, account statements, reports and other records and reviews them for accuracy

· Reconciles bank statements

· Prepares payroll and enters into online system, and reconciles all documentation

· Monitors accounts payable and receivable to ensure that payments are up to date

· Reconciles and recommends resolution for report discrepancies and problems

· Coordinates and prepares pertinent information for external accounting firm and auditors

· Codes data for input to QuickBooks according to procedures

· FINANCIAL ANALYSIS: gross profit analysis and variance analysis reports

· PAYROLL ANALYSIS: weekly & monthly hours reports evaluating validity of employees' hours and employment qualification

· BUDGETING: cost reports and accruals assisting clients' budgeting forecasting

· PAYROLL PROCESSING AND BILLING: processing weekly payroll and invoicing

· ACCOUNT RECEIVABLE: collections and reconciling aging statements

· ACCOUNT PAYABLE: post company's bills, checks and credit card statements in QuickBooks and reconcile it with bank's files

· AUDIT: worker's compensation insurance codes and costs

REQUIREMENT:

· Excel pivot table

· Detail oriented, organized, ability to prioritize

· Excel formula: VLOOKUP, if, is, index, match

· QuickBooks
