Responsibilities: • Maintain a high standard of customer service excellence when solving billing, policy change, claims, or coverage related issues • Present existing and prospective customers with individualized policy options, quote calculations, and educational materials to meet their needs • Facilitate sales by keeping accurate records of personal information of prospects and customers within insurance company databases • Take an innovative approach to networking and sales strategies to identify and secure new clients • Check insurance policies for accuracy, coverage, and limits to determine whether modifications are necessary • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales Qualifications: • State-issued, valid insurance license(s) required: Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License • Strong aptitude for computer programs including Microsoft Office required; agency management system experience preferred • Goal-oriented sales approach and effective collaboration skills are needed • A high school diploma is required - a bachelor's degree or comparable insurance industry experience is a must • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are a must Compensation: $25 - $40 plus commission
